Swap class had just ended for the semester. Overall, Logan enjoyed the experience. He got to spend a couple weeks as the girl who was the female lead in all of the drama productions. He was happy to be back in his own body though. It was a great class period, with people sharing stories about their experiences in their classmates bodies. It was especially interesting when Jordan shared what it was like to be their teacher, Mrs. Martin, for two weeks.
Class wrapped up and everyone exited. Logan got to his next class and realized he forgot his laptop in the classroom, so he went back to get it. It was only Mrs. Martin in the classroom tinkering with the swap machine. When Logan came in, he startled her, causing her to knock the machine over. An electric pulse surged through the room. It didn't take them long to see what had happened. The machine switched their bodies... and now it was broken! Logan was shocked to be in the body of his older teacher, but he saw his own body start to form a grin across its face.
Cut ahead three weeks, and Logan has had no luck getting his body back. Mrs. Martin decided she wanted his life and has been pretending to be him. The swap class machine was broken and the administration was talking about getting rid of the class. If he couldn't get anyone to believe him, he would be stuck this way. And Mrs. Martin was trying to ensure exactly that. In the meantime, he'll take this body for what it is, and end up getting pretty familiar with it.
