Collin had been in the custody of the mad scientist for about a week and a half. At least he wasn't alone. He had gotten quite close with the other victim the scientist had kidnapped, Alison. But since the first day, they had been stuck in each other's bodies from the mad scientist's experiment. They didn't know when he'd let them go. Collin and Alison's relationship had grown in quite the strange way. They were put in each other's bodies and then had to get to know each other. Like with some of his other test subjects, the scientists left the subjects nude for the duration of their time in the lab. This added another strange element to them getting to know each other. But they had no choice but to keep each other company, so did their best to enjoy it.
About two weeks into their time in the lab, Alison pitches an escape idea. "Let's get out of here. I know we're not back in our bodies, but I don't think we will be. Let's just keep living with each other to keep these bodies connected," she said to him. Collin was a bit surprised that she was willing to give up any chance of switching back. But Collin loved that. He was okay with this being his new body.
